About Bulldog Media

Big media forgot the neighbourhood.

we didn't.

Bulldog Media exists because the places people actually live — the blocks, the corner stores, the local legends — deserve better than a city-wide paper and an algorithmic feed.

Why the bulldog?

Because a bulldog is loyal to its block. It knows every doorstep, every shop, every face on the street — and once it picks up the paper, it does not drop it.

That's the whole company. We pick a neighbourhood, we learn it street by street, we print a magazine that could only be about that place — and we put it in every single mailbox, free.

Local businesses get seen by the people who can actually walk in. Residents get a magazine that's genuinely theirs. The neighbourhood gets a little more like a neighbourhood.

What we stand for.

Local or nothing

We don't do city-wide. We don't do 'Greater Vancouver.' One magazine covers one neighbourhood, and everything in it — stories, photos, ads — belongs to that neighbourhood.

Print worth keeping

If it's going on someone's coffee table, it better be beautiful. Heavy stock, real photography, design people actually want to pick up.

Straight answers

Our rates are public. Our deadlines are public. When you call, you talk to the people who make the magazine — not a sales layer.

Bite like a bulldog

We're small, stubborn and completely obsessed. When we take on a neighbourhood, we don't let go until everyone's reading.
